To make Fino’s vision of Haute Couture a reality, he had the legendary Italian silk fabric house of Antico Setificio Fiorentino, in Florence since 1786, produce exclusive Ermesino for the Atelier.

The Ermesino is an incredible shot silk hand-woven on antique wooden looms designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. The genius of Leonardo makes Ermesino the most amazing taffeta in the world used to create the amazing gowns of Queens and nobles throughout Europe.

Francesco Fino reinterprets the use of Ermesino to bring a very exclusive and unique tradition to his Atelier at The Plaza.
